Date: 1/14/09 2:19 PM Hi All,
I am pleased to inform you that very soon we will have a brand new "Sewing as a Business" Forum. This forum will be a private, invitation only forum in which only sewing related small businesses can participate.
Additionally you'll need to be either a current advertiser on PatternReview.com or a Friends of PR member to be invited. If you wish to be invited to this forum, there will be a simple request to fill out and sent to any of the board moderators or me and when you've been added, you'll get an email invite.
Purpose of this Forum: Over the last few years, much to my delight I've noticed quite a few PR members start their own sewing related businesses, particularly sewing classes, fabric stores etc. I know that most of you are very conscientious and shy away from participating on other threads on the boards discussing your business. I appreciate this a lot but I've also been thinking about how to help other sewing related businesses.
This is my attempt to provide a forum where you all will be able to discuss freely (of course all the PR guidelines apply here) your business and get to know other PR members who have sewing businesses too. This way we can all learn from each others experiences.
The forum is not ready yet but will be in a few days. If you'd like to be invited, send a PM to any of the moderators or me telling us about your business and we'll add you when the forum is ready. ------ - Deepika

Date: 11/28/10 9:54 PM Hi, Deepika. I would be very happy to receive an invitation to join this list. My husband and I have a sewing-related manufacturing business, so this would be right up my ally. Thank you! Bev ------ Beverley Hilton
