Do we know if the Chat sessions will be available, saved, for later viewing, in case we miss a chat? Thanks!! Vicki O

How do online classes work? Must you be available at a certain time on specific dates? How many sessions is the Bustier class?

I have 3 vintage/old fur jackets - all of different styles and different fits. I really would like to do something with them - combining the furs into one to make a nice jacket. Will your faux fur class provide guidance for sewing with real fur (mink?) or should I look elsewhere. I do not want to sew faux fur at this time. Therefore, should I attempt your class or would I be better off going to a fur place that would redesign them for me? Also, do I need to clean (somehow) the fur prior to use?
Thank you,
Suzanne

Actually the faux fur class grew out of my working wit real fur. The techniques are really the same, so yes, you can work with read fur if you wish to...

No experience necessary--that's why we are running the class, so you can learn. Glad you'll be with us!

Dear Mr. King,
I was really excited to see the announcement for this class in my inbox. I really would like to learn to sew on both faux and natural fur. I am a little worried about finding a pattern, though, as I am a plus size. I did a quick search and found a couple of patterns, but I wondered what you thought about this pattern:

I really like the 40's look, but there are a lot of seams in this coat and I want to get your opinion. Also, I have never worked with this particular pattern and I will have to do some fitting with a muslin first - I am worried about getting behind in the class. But I am very interested in taking it - I had been looking at faux fur over the last few days with that intention.
Thanks so very much, sincerely, Laura
