How does Marfy compare to Burda in terms of fit? I am interested in a Marfy pants pattern. I know that Burda patterns fit differently than American patterns and I like the way they fit. I'm told that they are more of a European fit. Would Marfy be the same? Also--does anyone know of a source in the US for Marfy or must I order them from the company (which I've done in the past). Thanks!

I love Marfy patterns too. I wear a bout a 14 in the big 4, and a 44 in Marfy. I have made several of their patterns, but no pants. I have made Burda pants and I really like the way that they fit.
Marfy's are available on the Butterick website here.

I have not sewn Marfy's, mostly because I'm a pear shape and the Marfy hip is smaller than the Burda and Big F. At least that what I gleaned from their sizing chart. I have to add one size through the hips, and don't want to add 2 sizes. I"ve read they're very well drafted and go together well.
