Date: 2/17/09 11:00 PM I have a son who is nearly six feet and only weighs 130 pounds. He eats like a horse but stays thin. He needs some pants that fit. Any patterns out there that run small and would fit for dress pants? ------ I sew....I rip....I create. |

Date: 2/18/09 0:07 AM This Jalie pattern includes waist sizes 21"-45-1/2" - 22 sizes in all. You'd probably have to make some changes - tracing the right waist/hip measurement, then lengthening it - but at least all the sizes are included for you. ------ “Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.” -Robert Heinlein and Ann's father. Thanks for the reminder, Ann.
Where are we going, and what am I doing in this handbasket?

Date: 2/18/09 12:39 PM KS3267 is my go to pattern for men's pants....this pattern has the best instructions for making a fly. The pants are plain front men's slacks.
------ 2012 : starting stash 386, net additions 206, used 164, ending stash 428...I'm never going to get in front of this pile of fabric!

I agree with you! I made Kwik Sew 3267 for my son. The welt construction alone is the best I've seen. ------ Erica B.
