sad today my kitty died early this morning

We had to put our kitty down last week she was 18 years old and having kidney failure could not stand to see her suffer. It is hard when you lose a pet either naturaly or because they are suffering. His pictures reminded me of my Buddy, a Russian blue, about 15 pounds. He had a tumor in his stomach and I had to put him down; it took me a year to get over it. Then Wilma appeared on my doorstep and I've had her ever since (15 years now). I know it sounds trite, but the sadness will pass. And then maybe, who knows?
