Date: 5/31/09 9:45 AM I bought some cheesecloth not realizing it was poly webbing, meant to be disposable (for lining cheese molds, not draining cheese before it goes into the molds). It doesn't drain very well but is pretty sturdy so I'm thinking now I'd like to turn it into produce bags. What needle and thread should I use for this material? It definitely has a plastic-y feel to it. ------ http://thelocalcook.com |

Date: 5/31/09 11:53 AM Yesterday I just repaired a leaf yard bag with handles made with similar, maybe heavier material. I totally cheated and used an old needle in my "discard" pill bottle...probably an old universal size 90 Schmetz. Worked just fine. ------ www.luckysewandsew.blogspot.com |
