Date: 7/29/04 10:36 AM I'm also five two. Used to have another half inch, but I seem to have lost it, or maybe it migrated to my waist, where it grew to about ten inches.
So tell me, Bridget, is this a case of great minds think alike or are you doing the work for me here by posting the poll I lazily mentioned? ------ Buy the best and you only cry once.

Date: 7/29/04 10:44 AM I'm 5'3". I wonder if we will see a grouping of people at the low end and the high end of the spectrum because RTW generally fits those in the middle? I honestly probably wouldn't have gotten so into sewing if I could find clothes that fit well RTW. ------ My sewing blog: weebeaks.blogspot.com

Date: 7/29/04 10:53 AM Let's just say I had some spare time. Besides, we have 2 of the three standard measurements, why not be complete in our data gathering?

Date: 7/29/04 1:05 PM I'm just shy of 5'8". I lengthen all patterns in the bodice. Pants lenght is usually okay in patterns and RTW.
Our pediatrician told me recently that 5'7" is 95th percentile for U.S. women, meaning 95% of us should respond below that choice. I found that hard to believe andf it doesn't seemt to be the case here. The Doc. was telling me because I had commented that i didn't know where DS was getting his height. ------ Patty |
