Date: 7/1/09 3:07 PM Hi Guys,
It's PatternReview's FIRST Expo. I am so very excited about it and nervous at the same time. Like I mentioned before, I will need all the support and help I can get.
The Booth
There is going to be a PatternReview Booth at the Expo where we'll have some fun things to do, not to mention Kenneth King will be there to help anyone with Moulage questions. He will also be talking about some new online classes he is going to teach on PatternReview as well.
Kenneth King
He will be there at the PR Booth on
Friday between 4:30 - 6:00 PM
Saturday 12:30 - 1:30 PM
Sunday 4:30 - 6:00 PM
Shopping
Additionally, you'll be able to buy patterns at the expo with Free SHIPPING!
Demos
There will be some fun demos at the booth as well.
And most importantly I will be able to meet so many of you!
Free Class for FoPRs
Oh.. I almost forgot, if you are a Friends of PR member American Sewing Expo will give you a coupon to take a free class of your choice. Isnt that nice of them? To get that coupon you will need to visit the PatternReview booth.
Show and Tell
At the end of the show, we'll do a little show and tell party in our very own Meeting room. Everybody is invited!
So mark the dates, I hope to see you at the Expo. Let's bring some fashion with us to this show!

Date: 7/2/09 10:32 AM This looks like a lot of fun! I live in Cleveland, OH but am from Detroit so I'll be attending. How do we indicate that we are a FoPR on the registration form to get our coupon? Thanks. |

Date: 7/2/09 2:59 PM I'm a 'very likely.' My son still lives in Detroit and I visit frequently. Sounds like the right weekend to visit. I thought about it last year and never did it. I'm going to make a much stronger effort this year. |

Date: 7/11/09 10:58 PM I'll be there with my mom probably. I'm about 45 minutes away and my mom is only 15 minutes from Novi.
I went for the first time last year and had a ball. We didn't do any classes but may this year. ------ http://kimsewsilly.blogspot.com/ |

Date: 7/12/09 2:00 AM I am considering attending this expo. I would be coming on my own -- any advice re: transportation once I'm there and a good place to stay.
Ideally I'd like to stay close to where the expo is being held -- is there a hotel, etc. within walking distance? What about places to eat?
Any information from a local or someone in the know would be greatly appreciated. It would help me make my decision.
