I am wondering if feet for Elna sergers 604E, 624DE & 624DSE
will fit my Elna 745? Does anyone know please? I have emailed Elna but so far no reply.
Thanks.

I don't think so. I have the 745 and while it shares feet with the 744 and 945 models, I don't think I have ever seen the 745 listed with the models you mentioned. If you go to the sewing supply warehouse site and click on some of the feet you are interested in, you will see that when the 745 is listed, those 6 series sergers are not.

And the 745 does not always share the same items as the 744, either. I had to return an Elna Attachment Holder Set for the 744 as it does NOT fit the 745. I was able to get the one made specifically for the 745. I hope Elna responds to you with a definitive answer.

Thanks. I havent actually picked up the 745 yet, I will get it tomorrow. Although I am starting to wonder if I should buy it given how difficult and expensive additional feet are to get.
HHhhhmmmmm I'm not sure now.

I have an old Elna Accessory book and it does have different sergers and which feet are for each however the models you are interested in are not listed in the book being the 745 is newer than book.
The models listed are: 683, 686 sergers and 744 and 945 coverlocks.
Most of the feet shown in the book only fit the 744 and 945 but there are several feet that can be used by all models. a few of the feet are only made for the non cover hem machines.
Pfaff coverlock feet also fit the Elna coverlocks but the Pfaff guides are not the same as the Elna guides because of some difference in styling. Many dealers seem to think all are interchangeable between brands because Pfaff and Elna sergers came out of the same factory in Japan, but they are not. The feet pretty much are the same..but not the guides.
The newer sergers like the 845 and Janomes 1200D don't have a tilt needle clamp and do top cover hem and might take different feet but the Elna site does state which feet fit their "present" models. There might be changes now since Janome took over Elna and Tacony no longer distributes Elna products and parts and the machine and sergers parts might have some differences than the past.

I have several Pfaff feet for my Elna 744 coverlock that are identical to Elna's feet. All but one of these fit my older basic Pfaff 4842 serger. One of Elna's models was identical to my Pfaff 4842 but I don't know if it is one of the Elna sergers you have listed. My 4842 had the same styling of the coverlocks and was larger than most basic models and was made in Japan like the coverlock models where the other basic sergers were made elsewhere.
