Hi everyone,
Looking for someone else who uses Isacord embroidery thread and trying to find out where they have found the best prices? I had bought mine from my dealer (before he got sick and went out of business) for my Viking Designer I about 7 years ago. He sold the spools for $4 each if you bought 25 spools at once - so of course I did.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how it stitches out but I'm not finding great deals online.. Where do other Isacord fans buy your thread??

Thanks!

The place that has the best price I have found is Imachine group , and,, here is directions of how to get to the thread,,
click the link
click supplies
click-click here to order embroidery and T-Jet supplies
A security warning will come up on the next several pages.. click NO each time
click embroidery supplies-- (pic of thread)
scroll down and click--thread (pic of thread again)
THAT will finally take you to the page for the thread,,

1000m, $3.15
5000m $6.95

I know what you mean by this threa,, I actually have several left the I got from them yrs ago,, It runs wonderful in my D1 and I love the base that holds the thread end..

Thanks so much! That's an even better price than anything I could find online so far... How is the customer service?

If you google isacord thread you will have lots of sites for ordeing this thread at. Look for some old stand by ebay sellers, as well as new sources. There were so many when I looked I did not even make it through all of them.. I did bookmark a couple I thought were real reasonable, so I will check them out today and repost.

As far as customer service goes,, it was good,, but it has been about 3 yrs since I ordered any,, I guess you would just have to give them a try,,

As far as Googling goes, I am not going to tell you not to,, but this was the best place the last time I looked, at that was about a week ago,, I was seriously thinking I was going to have to go back to using only Isacord, the last time I purchased it,, was when the 1000 m spools were $2.85, a couple yrs ago,, even Ebay was higher,, the only way I can think of to get it cheaper is if a company or individual has a sale, or gets rid of some,,,OH almost forgot,, sewforless is having a sale on the 5000m spools,,,,

I always buy at IMachine Group, their prices are the best and service is great.

I always buy from IMachine Group too. Their price is the best and the shipping and customer service are great. Once you order 8-10 spools the shipping increases very little as you add spools. I have bought some Mettler Poly Sheen, which is the same as Isacord, in small and medium spools from various places, but the price from IMachine Group is always better even for the 1000m spools. In the beginning I bought a real thread card of all the colors and I refer to this frequently. I stick to Isacord and Mettler-it helps to simplify my life a little!

Do you have all colors? 300 ish X $3.15 = $945 YIKES...or do you just have to bite the bullet if you are going to do this thing called embroidery?

LOL Yes I have all the colors, but I didn't buy them all at once!

My most used colors, (black, ivory, a few greens and burgundies) I keep on the 5000 meter spool, those are REALLY a bargain at Imachine group, when compared to the smaller spools.

I did bite the bullet..as I did not want the down time from not having the correct color, and did not want to spend research time..software or not.. to determine a substitute color.

You could however, buy the thread colors that meet the requirement of your cd packs as you buy them.. AND add a few new colors each payday.

This friday I am adding the new colors.. I believe I saw the entire set for l78. somewhere..

I also bought colors to match my decor..the ones I will do redwork or such in , but in my colors..not just red.

Sometimes if you buy so many at one time, they will throw in the container you store them in..keep that in mind as you want to protect them from the dust.
