"Sew Pro is what I'm most familiar with. I'm going to purchase Embird soon"
I saw this statement by tnrnchick74 on another thread. Since you say you are familiar with sew what pro I assume that you have it. Is there a reason that you're switching to Embird? Does it have capabilities that Sew what pro doesn't?
I like both of these. My friend has Sew Pro and sister has Embird. I'm not sure which is better but I want one of them. I will probably go with Embird. I'm not qualified to say which is best. Hopefully I will be able to buy one soon. Right now my sister writes to my cards, but this is a lots of running when I need something quick. I will probably check prices unless I decide to learn digitizing and then I would go with Embird. However it is hard to save money these days.

Sew What Pro was cheaper last I checked, but I did not see a great deal of difference, I looked at both for a friend. I think embird may have better support and tutorials but they will do the same thing. Iconz is also capable of beng purchased standalone. Both have free demo's I'd give them a try before you decide.
