Electra likes to make sure my pattern pieces are laid out correctly.

Within the past 2 hours, she has also attacked said pattern pieces, pulled the whole paper to the floor while I was cutting it out, attacked the fabric, and licked her butt on the fabric.

Fuego just likes to sprawl.

Or view from above.

When she's not helping me sew or cut, Electra likes to ride herd on the betta. He's sure to break out one of these days.

Ollie likes to help unpack fabric shipments:

And sometimes he likes to help sew. Or just obstruct the sewing:

Sassy loves to direct the sewing, pick the pattern, or just take over the cutting table. Any attempt to remove her from either location will result in the mover being scratched!!!

Gorgeous kitties! I wanted a calico when we adopted our two but Kris fell in love with them, so I couldn't hardly tell him no.

The black and white one's face looks so much like my poor late Axle.

Clyde likes to view sewing room activity from the ironing board.

Oh, my, Axle does look just like Ollie!

Ollie is such a bad cat, he does everything he can to constantly be everywhere he should not be...in the pile of fabric you are trying to fold, eating the pattern paper, knocking the box of pins on the floor. Once you do get him to leave the sewing room, he just goes looking for trouble elsewhere, you just listen for the dog's growls coming from the next room to know that he found it.

I have not seen very many with that black nose.

Ollie sounds like Electra. She is INSANE. She dived into my pile of cut pattern pieces and started rabbit kicking ... she launches at the end of fabric that is hanging from the end of my cutting table like Tarzan ... she attacks my hands while I'm cutting (Finger on quick release for blade all the time now!) Then she barfed all over. That's just her sewing antics ... she is pretty much nonstop no matter what we are doing or what part of the house we are in. She teases the dogs, attacks the other cat and generally raises hell.

Kris loves her playfulness and mischief but I really wish she would keep it out of the sewing room. I hate closing the door, I feel like I'm cut off from the rest of the house :(

Ah, the youthful mischief from Electra. And Clyde, how cute, love that little leg dangling over the edge of the ironing board. Hopefully in a few years Sassy and Electra will settle down to guard duty too.

Oh gosh! They are SO cute!! I feel happy that I can finally contribute to this thread. Our little kitten discovered my ironing board two days ago. I keep taking him off LOL.

Two hours ago I thought he was asleep and laid out a quilt project for DD#2's best friend. Talk about springing into action! Little Jake jumps off the couch and promptly needs to inspect every inch of the quilt. I kept removing him, he kept inspecting. Now he's finally asleep.
