Date: 1/6/10 4:18 PM President's Day is on Monday, 2/15. Most offices are closed since it's a federal holiday, but it's hardly going to be a retail one.
I know there were a few people (me included!) who could not make the shopping day back in November, so I'm posting this to see if anyone else would be interested in a re-do. Stores that are normally closed on Saturdays will be open (Kashi, leather stores), so it might be a good opportunity to add to the stash, particularly if you're already off work that day. ------ Karen
There's always room for one more cat, one more book or one more yard of fabric.

Date: 1/8/10 2:33 PM The only issue is that this is also Valentine's weekend and NYC hotel prices will be sky high. Depending on hotel cost, I might be interested. ------ http://theslapdashsewist.blogspot.com

Date: 1/9/10 0:11 AM I know. I didn't even think about V-Day the day before, and I was informed that plans have been made for me and I can't come up to NY on Sunday to hang out with a sewing buddy and then do the shopping on Monday.
Maybe if I offer to buy shirting for a belated Valentine present?
I'll still be there on the 15th, though - not that I need any more fabric. ------ Karen
