Date: 2/22/10 7:55 PM I would like a pattern similar to this:Ruffled Cardigan but I can't find a pattern like it.
If anyone knows of one they can point me to, I would really appreciate it (but not Burda or something I can't readily get my hands on).
TIA,

Date: 2/22/10 8:15 PM That looks like Vogue 8283... but I'm not sure whether or not it's out of print. |

Date: 2/22/10 8:39 PM I just looked that one up at Vogue. It's a bit more structured than I'm looking for. I want something where the ruffle makes the "collar," with no seams or actual realy structure to it, something I can make out of a lightweight knit.
I bought one very similar today at Ann Taylor Loft (not on their Web site or I would have linked that one), and I was thinking how easy it would be to make, but I just can't find a similar enough pattern. |

Date: 2/23/10 0:18 AM La Mia Boutique has one very similiar, but with double ruffle collar. It's just GORGEOUS!!!
My only problem is finding matching rayon/lycra ribbing and jersey in a charcoal.

Date: 2/23/10 9:46 AM Hmmmm, well thank you for those suggestions. Not really easily available and not really like the one I linked--cute nevertheless--but not what I have in my mind.
I may just take a bolero patterns I saw that was more similar and lengthen it. The only seams in the one I bought were at the shoulders, side seams, sleeve, and ruffle to sleeve/front, no princess seam, no darts, no waist seam--just a really cute easy little topper. |

Date: 2/23/10 1:01 PM Pattern number 1027 Bolero Jacket An Onion Pattern is almost exact. I think that is what you are saying above. It would really only entail lengthening below the waist.
