Can I post a picture of mine even thoug I didn't come?? I'm going to take a trip to the museum soon, I think it's a cool place.

Date: 3/15/10 2:30 PM This is exciting. I hope this truly becomes a "regular" meeting. One correction, the name of the manager of New England Fabrics in Keene, NH is "Ron," not Don. But let me tell you, this is a great store. Quite large, well laid out and has about everything for sewing. The staff is very helpful. The fabrics are great and not too pricey. They have areas of fashion, quilting, Bridal, upholstery, notions, pressing equipment, buttons, and they sell Janome machines. - Am looking forward to attending the next meeting in Billerica. As a matter of coincidence, I lived in Billerica many many years ago, attended 5th through 10th grade there. I know it has gone through much change as driving through there now I do not recognize much. Am really looking forward to this. |

Date: 3/15/10 3:08 PM I too was unable to attend the meeting in Lowell. Was suffering from jet lag and could barely get my head off the pillow. Would love to attend the next meeting in April. I would vote for Keene, NH store as it is closer for me but will drive to Billerica if necessary. Count me it! Can't wait! |

Date: 3/16/10 11:46 AM You can count me in. I'll drive any reasonable (or occasionally unreasonable) distance to meet with fellow sewing enthusiasts. I"ll have to check on 4/17 as I may be on vacation- but I'll be at any I can. ------ Sewing: A creative mess is better than tidy idleness. ~Author Unknown

Date: 3/16/10 9:11 PM Arrrrghhh!!!! I will actually be down (from Maine) in Natick on the 17th, but we are meeting my in-laws and taking my DD to lunch at the American Girl store that afternoon. I would REALLY love to be in on the Unique Boutique trip, seeing as I've had a recent body scan done there and have even made up some of my patterns (with pretty good results!).

Date: 3/17/10 12:41 PM I'll give a tentative yes to joining you in April. It sounds like you all had so much fun, and getting together with fellow sewers/collectors is the best.
Now, I'm off to check out the pictures........ |
