I don't understand why the boiler-plate forms you fill out to make a pattern review ask you to fill in two different sources for the picture of your project. Which one ends up on the review? The first one, I put in the url of my PR membership photo storage. Then I indicated which photo to link in the next blank. The second place in the format browsed to my computer to get the photo. Why a second photo? They are alike, except the one in my computer has not been downsized.

I think the first one might be your thumbnail picture - the one that shows up on the review gallery. The other is the one that it will expand to & will show in your review.

Does that fit with what you are asking about.

So, I've noticed that some people have two or three views of themselves wearing the garment they made. How do they make that link up?

It's the opposite. The last one (that browses your computer and uploads from there) is the thumbnail.

Debbie, So that would mean I should upload a suitably sized thumbnail picture.. square in dimensions and about 1000x1000 in size?

Can I change the thumbnail I have already sent in? If so, how?

PR will resize your photo for the thumbnail. It won't resize any other review photos automatically. The thumbnail is 100x100, I believe. 1000x1000 is a BIG file/photo.

1) The PatternReview system automatically sizes your photo to fit the thumbnail parameters. However, it is a good idea to make your thumbnail a square (of any dimensions).

2) Yes, you can change your thumbnail. Go into edit mode on the review, and right above the text block for the body of the review it shows the thumbnail and has a "replace" option, see the screencap below.

SO FRUSTRATED !

I just can't get my thumbnails to work! They look fine on my pc, but appear all blurry and out of focus when they go on the Review Gallery

I post on other forums and my photos work beautifully. I just can't do the PR photos, and it's doing my nut
