My embroidery module has suddenly started acting up.
It will embroider about 10 stitches and then beep and stop with the broken thread message. The problem is the thread is NOT broken. This is very annoying. I was able to finish my design by restarting each time, but I am wondering if there is a quick fix or does the module need to go to the repair shop. This is upsetting because I don't use the embroidery module all that much.
Thank you for all replies.
Karen

Karen check your bobbin area for build up of lint. My 730E did the same thing. I tried everything I could think of and then cleaned the lint out of the bobbin area and the message stopped showing up. It really is annoying. Hope this works for you also?

It sounds like an upper thread sensor which I think the 440 has. This model doesn't have a bobbin sensor. I don't think it's in your embroidery module but could very well be wrong. Maybe just a thread caught in there or some lint in the top?
