he passed away last night (cancer). he was only 56.

I'm so sorry about your dad. No matter what the age (yours or his), or the cause, it's difficult to lose a parent. I hope that you and he were able to spend some quality time together before his passing. You'll be in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear of your loss. My Dad was my favorite person and I miss him but was lucky to reach age 63 before his passing at 91 (age doesn't seem to matter in missing though)...thinking of you...

2010 fabric in 91 1/2 yds, sewn 27 yds, given away 1 1/2 yds; +63 yd = +50 1/4 yd
2011 fabric in: 55 yd.; sewn: 21 yd; given away: 20 yd +14 yd = +64 1/4 yd
2012 fabric in: 60 1/4 yd., sewn 25 1/4 yds, given away 16 yds, thrown away 3 yds scraps; UFOs completed: 7 +26 yd = +90 1/4 yd
