I just went to the Sears site to look at the sewing machines since they are supposed to be made by Janome. I just wanted to see the comparison between the two brands again since I work in a sewing store.
But when I went to the sewing machine page there were no Kenmores other than the mini & 3/4 size.
Am i missing something here? they had oodles of Kenmores a month ago...

There is a thread going on about finding the TOL 19005 on clearance. i just did a search and only found a refurbished Ergo3 for $999. Overstock.com may be our last source of Kenmores...

I guess they are getting out of the sewing machine business. That's a shame they were the last place to get a fairly inexpensive machine that was of decent quality since they were made by Janome.

Does that make my Kenmores "collectors items?"

We have a Sears Outlet in town. I should check their inventory.

Sears.ca the Canadian Website has 8 Kenmore branded machines on it.

I have had not reason to check in store.

I just ordered several of these machines about 2-3 weeks ago. Now they are not on the web site. They only have the ERGO 3 19010 and the Ergo 19005. They still do have the smaller ones. It appears they are discontinuing them.

Indeed. I thought I had started a false alarm on this a month or so back, only to discover that Sears.com's search functionality was simply broken.

However, just now I went to Sears.com, Appliances/Sewing & Garment Care category (which bypasses search), and, wow, it's just what you say. In the category opening page, notice mention of Brother, Singer, and Janome(!), but nothing about Kenmore. I see the 3/4 Kenmore, and nothing else.

Looks like it might finally be coming to an end.

I "chatted" with customer service on the Sear's website, and she said the two embroidery machines were the only ones available online. No idea if the others are gone forever or not. Bummer if they are.
