Plus size sewing blogs have helped me see how patterns really look on my figure. I have found Sherril's, Michelle's, Diary of a Sewing Fanatic and New Vintage Lady but am looking for more.

Is there possibly a list somewhere?

Thanks for mentioning my blog and I'm glad you find it helpful. Here's the link:

Well that's a little embarrassing to see my blog that I haven't updated in a year and a half mentioned here.

Blogging was taking away from my limited sewing time.

But it is still a great resource. At least, it's helped me.

Thanks for mentioning mine too (Diary of a sewing fanatic) and I don't think there is a list of plus size bloggers. It would be kewl if one was created though!

Apart from these fantastic blogs you've already mentioned (and I'm already bordering on stalking...in the nicest possible way, of course), there's also Debbie Cook's Blog. I like her blog as she seems to have a similar shape (if somewhat smaller) to me. It's helpful, too, as she seems to wear a similar style of clothing.

Having said that, I really am grateful for all that you 'blog-writers' do, particularly the ones mentioned here. The time and effort that you put into your blogs is amazing and you have provided such a wonderful resource. The confidence boost that you give this 'plus-size' seamstress is much appreciated.

I'd love to see a directory of Plus-Size Bloggers. I enjoy all the sewing blogs but the Plus-Size Blogs are most beneficial to me. I can visualize how the garment would look on my body shape and the helpful tips on how to make alterations to fit us is most helpful. I've learned so much from Carolyn, Debbie, Sherrill, knitmachinequeen, etc. Carolyn, I am going to make more dresses thanks to you. One of my sewing partners & I are embarking on 3 months of dresses starting May - July. We'll see how many we can complete w/in 3 months. I sincerely thank all the Plus-Size ladies that blog and review patterns.
