Date: 4/28/10 8:04 PM Wouldn't it be interesting to find out what goes on in the Designer's sewing room? In my travels meeting all the wonderful designers, inspired me to bring this feature to you.
This week we're going in Kathleen Cheetham (owner and designer of Petite Plus Patterns).

Date: 4/29/10 10:58 AM Kathleen looks as though she enjoyed this collaborative project very much! The bustier idea is genius! This article was so interesting to me as I have been "mixing it up" a bit with my sewing and feel much more creative now. Collaborating, and sharing expertise with all ages and a variety of people, is sure to pay off for everyone. I look forward to more articles such as this (hint, hint). ------ my blog: http://kf-biblioblog.blogspot.com/

Subject: From the Designer's Diary Date: 5/4/10 1:58 PM What magnificent costumes! I bet the children thoroughly enjoy playing dress up with their undersea friends. ------ The essence of life is statistical improbability on a colossal scale.

Subject: From the Designer's Diary Date: 5/6/10 0:58 AM What a fun and interesting read! My kids would really enjoy playing with those costumes. I like reading about all the planning put into the educational side of these. I live in the NW, and studying the salmon life cycle is a big thing here. But my kids have never seen costumes - let alone ones like this - in the centers. Great idea from Erin, and great sewing/creativity from Kathleen! |

Date: 10/22/12 11:28 AM Hi Kathleen, loved the article and all the costumes, but I must buy that Zebra Coat pattern of yours, I love it as I do all your patterns. I recently made your Shell pattern and perfect fit, of course.
