necchi lydia 544 and MK2 mirella what are the differences help!

The Mirella (if I remember right) only offers straight and zig-zag -- but it also offers a built-in handcrank for non-electric operation. The Lydia is a more modern machine with multiple stitches (although not that many) -- both machines are mechanicals, not computerized. The Lydia uses plastic gears and a camshaft. Typically, a Mirella will go for several times as much as a Lydia on Ebay -- the Mirella's are much more uncommon (and therefore desirable as collectibles).
