Simplicity On-line Pattern Sales Does this ever happen?

I have quite a few Simplicity patterns that I wanted to pick up and I was wondering if they ever have on-line sales like BMV does? I can afford 6 patterns at $2.50 but not their regular prices

The website does a discount already and earlier this year, I missed a sale on New Looks at $2,49 IIRC (didn't have internet access, found out cleaning my inbox when I did) BUT Above and beyond that, my big problem with Simplicity is the payment method. Have you tried buying from them? You can't do it directly like at McCall's/Butterick/Vogue. Nooo, you have to print out your cart and mail/email/fax/call the offices to have it manually processed. I have complained SEVERAL times but nothing has changed, even after the website overhaul. And the last time I ordered, it took at least 4 emails for the order to be processed properly!!! My suggestion is this: find someone here to check the sales in the US for you and mail them to Canada! If you look around this thread, you'll see others have done so successfully before. They apparently don't have a uniformly good reputation among PR members, but most of the PRDU members use them regularly and have no problems with them. I personally have used them 6 times or so, thus far, with good results. But as always, caveat emptor. HTH ------ Imaan in Sydney, NSW. The only people who achieve much are those who want knowledge so badly that they seek it while the conditions are still unfavourable. Favourable conditions never come.

Since then I have ordered again a few times and have not had any more problem. I live in Europe and I think that their shipping costs for overseas orders are very reasonable compared to other sellers.
