Date: 5/27/10 9:43 PM In the review, there is a button to report a problem with the review. Just explain whatever you need/want. That will let a person with delete authority know what to do.

Date: 5/28/10 7:39 AM The best way to have a review deleted is to simply copy the url for the review in question and email that link to support@patternreview.com
If you aren't sure of the url then let us know which pattern, date posted, etc so we may find the proper one.
Most likely your review can be removed by the end of the day or Monday morning if you email us on a weekend.
Thanks!

Date: 5/31/10 8:43 PM This is a frustrating issue that you will see posted again and again. Nobody wants to accidentally post 2 posts. If you do a search on this site, you will find MANY people asking this same question. I asked Deepika why there is no delete button and she basically said there is no reason. I've suggested that she add that capability but got no response. I don't understand why a member needs to go through hoops making work for moderators when there could be a simple delete button:
Here is the thread where I asked Deepika: Thread
To be honest, her response left a sour taste in my mouth.

Date: 5/31/10 8:59 PM There may be a reason Deepika wants to delete the reviews herself -- She designed the site for pattern reviews, and she probably wants reviews written to stay here, and not be mistakenly deleted by users, or deleted for any reason, without her authority.
I'm pretty busy and don't normally spend much time on the site, but after reading about recent contentious discussions, I must say I strongly support Deepika and the moderator's decisions.

JDpenelope is absolutely right. This is a safety and security issue. Many of our members use public computers to access PatternReview. Being that you remain logged in unless you specifically logout a member's account could be accessed unintentionally by the incorrect user. Of course there are ways to verify identity before doing certain tasks but for now Deepika has determined that this is the easiest way for us to handle a members need to have a review deleted.
Having a review deleted is as easy as sending a quick email to support@patternreview.com. Generally your review will be deleted within hours.
If you are requesting that many of your reviews be deleted we might ask for an explanation to determine if we could have served you better but your request will never ever be denied.
