Date: 6/2/10 12:27 PM Does anyone know where I can find a low rise pants pattern?
I mean LOW rise....not 1" below the belly button, but down close to the hipbones. Is there a pattern floating around? ------

This review by cdmilliner is very helpful, I think.
The pattern does not call for stretch denim, which I think, would work better for really low rise jeans or pants, just my opinion. You might need to lower the rise more if you like it even lower. Jennifer has a blog, and it seems that she's pretty good in answering her readers' questions.
I'm really tempted to buy the 0037 pattern. The pattern sale is still on!

This one was RIDICULOUSLY low when I muslined it a few years ago (also enormous). You'd have definitely seen the crack in the back without any bending over! There's quite a few reviews of it where people have done a bunch of alterations and got nice fitting jeans out in the end, but I know I'm never going to bother sewing this again when Burda & Knip jeans fit me without any faffing around...------

Date: 1/25/12 2:35 PM I'm usually a Burda girl but had good results with Vogue 8774. It dips down in the front so you end up with a little bit more coverage in the back. On me the waistband hugged right around the hipbone area. ------
