Does anyone know where I can find a low rise pants pattern?

I mean LOW rise....not 1" below the belly button, but down close to the hipbones. Is there a pattern floating around?

I'm interested in the low rise jean patterns by J Stern Designs, particularly pattern 0037.

This review by cdmilliner is very helpful, I think.

The pattern does not call for stretch denim, which I think, would work better for really low rise jeans or pants, just my opinion. You might need to lower the rise more if you like it even lower. Jennifer has a blog, and it seems that she's pretty good in answering her readers' questions.

I'm really tempted to buy the 0037 pattern. The pattern sale is still on!

ETA: Darn it. The pattern sale is over. :(

Since October 2014, I've sewn 14 yards! It's nice to see my stash decreasing at this steady pace.

I'd suggest going through the Burda catalogue, especially their 'young' collection.

How about Vouge 1051, Vogue 8202, Vogue 7481, orVogue 2812? The last three are now OOP, but you might find them at a reasonable price on ebay.

Vogue 2907 could be very low if you narrowed the waistband. This is my favorite pants pattern.

This one was RIDICULOUSLY low when I muslined it a few years ago (also enormous). You'd have definitely seen the crack in the back without any bending over! There's quite a few reviews of it where people have done a bunch of alterations and got nice fitting jeans out in the end, but I know I'm never going to bother sewing this again when Burda & Knip jeans fit me without any faffing around...

Vogue 2812 is definitely NOT low rise. It looks that way, but it is SOOO not. I was very disappointed when I made them.

I just got one making a muslin for mcall 5392 and I think they are a nice fitted low rise jean.

I muslined Burda 7295 and it is low rise.

I'm usually a Burda girl but had good results with Vogue 8774. It dips down in the front so you end up with a little bit more coverage in the back. On me the waistband hugged right around the hipbone area.
