Date: 6/6/10 7:51 AM I found on sale the Brother 1034D with the gathering foot and blind hem foot included (I'd want to add a piping foot, but that's extra.) Is this a decent deal or should I hold out for something better? I do basic serging and rolled hems, mostly. Brother 1034D |

Date: 6/6/10 8:24 AM I purchased the same machine from walmart and I absolutely love it. It is so easy to use and to thread. It makes finishing your seams so nice. I haven't did much else yet with my machine but plan too in the future. Love it for the price. |

Date: 6/7/10 10:07 PM If you are a Costco member, they sell the machine for $199.99 + $14 for S/H. (avail. online only). The advantage of Costco over Amazon is that if you don't like it, for any reason, at any time, you can return it. The disadvantage is that you have to pay sales tax.
