Date: 7/3/10 11:48 AM I just got my schedule of events for the 2010 ETA California. I've found five classes for each day that I'd be happy to take. Most classes from the old-time regulars including B. Callahan, P. Sagers, L. Henry, and C. Guffey. The price for two days is $129.95 for unlimited classes and entry to the exhibit hall and free demos. I'm not sure if they did this in years past, but then three of my classes have fees on top of that which adds $60 to the cost of the conference. Again there are some Day Before classes and a couple look good including Cynthia Guffey's Pants Fitting class for $125 plus a $20 kit fee. I haven't decided if I want to take this class yet.

Pre-registration began yesterday (when I got my booklet BTW) online and by fax. July 6th you can register by phone. ------ Visit my blog at http://sewingsaga.blogspot.com

Date: 7/3/10 12:11 PM Thanks for posting the link, I just reveiwed the class list and there are a few classes I would like to take....it seems like they have more garment classes than last year. I need to spend some time with the brochure and see if I can fill up the day on Saturday. I hope everyone notices that PR member SueV is participating in the design challenge....I have to be there on Saturday evening to see the results of the challenge and cheer for Sue.
------ 2012 : starting stash 386, net additions 206, used 164, ending stash 428

Very cool, how'd you learn that she's in the challenge? I just skimmed the book briefly, completely missed any mention of the challenge/participants. They have a faceboook page now too (well, Silhouettes, not ETAC but it's listed there) http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Silhouette-Patterns/129772940391590?ref=ts------ Karen

Date: 7/11/10 11:12 PM I am planning to go, and will very much enjoy seeing you all there. I have not decided about Friday's classes--it would likely be Cynthia G's if I decide to attend a Friday class. |
