nI have made this top three times, different sizes. I love the top, but the back of the neck some down to far for my liking. I have a rounded back which I do not like to bare. Any suggestions on how to alter the back so it sits higher on my neck and back?

I would add to the neckline of the main part of the shirt and then alter the neckpiece to fit it. Compare the two pieces you have now to see how they fit together and work from there to raise the neckline.
You may also check the shoulders of one of the ones you have made. I had to change the shoulder seam rather drastically to get the shirt to fit me. The slope was at too much of an angle to work on me - it needed to be almost perpendicular to the sleeve to fit me. I don't know if that makes sense, but it brought up the neckline a lot and helped with my other fit problems.
