Does anyone have a solution to fitting uneven shoulder lengths?
I've just discovered why I've had so many problems fitting jackets and blouses -- one shoulder length is a full inch longer than the other. I've tried using the "average" measurement, but that means neither shoulder fits. My next step will be to use two separate bodice patterns. If anyone has experience with this and has a "short-cut" I'd be very grateful if you would share it.

kempcor, I strongly suggest looking in Nancy Zieman's book, Fitting Finesse for her pivot and slide method. Yes, it's a bit labor intensive, but it doesn't seem to alter the armscye or upper chest, or anything else. My shoulders are very narrow. I've never been able to get satisfying results with any other method. I'm so pleased with the shoulder fit using this method, that I'm now 'free' to concentrate some other fitting issues. Good luck
