I've heard a lot of people mention this in passing, but I don't know what it is. I'd like as much information as possible, since I don't have a piece if it in my hand to look at/feel. I get the idea it's stretchy. . .but how stretchy? Is it a "firm" stretch, or is really easy to stretch? Is in transparent (that's what onionskin implies to me)? I would guess it's a man made knit of some sort, but I wonder what it's pros and cons are. What do people like to use it for?

I have made a crossover top with onionskin, and have ordered another length of it from EOS. I don't like to wear sleeveless or short sleeves, so I made this top with 3/4 sleeves. It was still very very cool on a hot, humid, hazy NY day.
I also spray starched it when constructing to give the material some stability.
