Does anyone know where one might could trade my sewing machine? I purchased this machine in March of this year. It has a lot of good features; but it is too complicated for my use. I would like to trade it in for a Singer, or some other reliable brand. With the economy the way it is, not much chance of selling it to anyone. Can anyone help me? Thank you. Mary

You could list it on the Classifieds here. It's a Threadbanger? Janomes are known to be reliable, more so than today's Singers. Janome and Brother are pretty much the only ones still making their own machines, save for a few Berninas, I believe.

Sorry to hear your finding your machine too complicated. I'm not familiar with that model but could you get any lessons or help from where you bought your machine?

Seems a same to give up on it. Perhaps there is a yahoo group you could join for that model Janome?

The TB30 is about as simple as you'll get in a computerized machine.

I agree. All the stitches are pictured on direct-select buttons in front of the machine. The stitch you choose lights up either green or orange. What problems are you having with your TB30?

I do agree with what you say, it's just there is too many features that I do not use and it is a shame to not use these features, as well as the several different feet. I just need something well made and simple. Thank you for your post.

I am not sure that she can list on PR classifieds without full membership.. I could be wrong.. just pm her if interested..
I hope she finds a machine she likes.. maybe that ll5ll0 would do.. it has many model numbers.. or perhaps a mechanical..

Would you Janome dealer not trade that one in on a simpler one. Perhaps the TB l2.
