I saw this today at Urban Outfitters. I probably would have bought it but it was made out of cheap fabric and was $48! I've gotten so cheap.

Any ideas on a pattern to knock it off? The pockets are formed by folding the front part of the cardigan back, but there is a seam at the bottom. It just looks so comfy and cute.

Cute, looks like the pocket is one piece with the collar?

When you can see the stripes of the models shirt beneath the cardigan in the back, you can tell that the material is thin and cheap. Good for you for not giving in.
I can't find a specific pattern, but I suggest that instead of looking at jacket patterns, you also consider bathrobe/lingerie type patterns.
In addition to the shawl collar, the other features I see are the slightly droppd shoulders, very close fitting sleeves, and the pocket detail, which might be the hardest thing to get right.

I don't know if it's still available, but Simplicity Threads 2474 is similar(it has a front band). I love knit cardis.

I was looking at the Fashion Sewing Group website yesterday and saw something similar. It doesn't have the folded over pocket design of the Urban Outfitters cardigan, but you might be able to adapt it. FSG 1960

And here's a Stretch & Sew with the pocket feature. I think some kind of morph is in order, but possible.

I think that is very similar. Looking at the original, it looks like you'd need a rib trim on the shawl lapel tht extends on the top of the pocket and finishes in the side seam.

Thank you all! There is definitely going to be some ad libbing to whatever I choose but that Stretch and Sew is pretty darn close.
