Date: 9/6/10 0:58 AM I just finished a muslin of a graded down raglan sleeve top. Everything looks great...until I try to reach my arms in front of me. This is an indicator of needing a wide back adjustment yes? If that's so, how do I do that with a raglan sleeve? |

Date: 9/6/10 9:50 PM In Fit for Real People p.119 the broad back alteration for a raglan sleeve top shown is to cut and spread the entire back. The cut starts above the notches. The excess is eased into the sleeve. Hope this helps. ------ Elaine |

Date: 9/8/10 1:04 AM As it happens, I actually have that book, and I can't believe I didn't find it in there. Thank you so much. I was thinking of adding darts in the back anyway, and this alteration will accommodate that as well. Muslin #3 here I come (thank goodness it's only 4 pieces).
