I agree ... not as much to make fun of this time, except the Koos coat. I'm still of the opinion this Koos designer hates women.

I don't really make mistakes ... I create "learning opportunities"! Murphy says: The better you match the thread to the fabric, the more likely you will need to rip some stitches out! I spend more quality time with my seamripper than I like ...
Yes, I DO love fabric!!

I really like the Kay Unger dresses with the crossover front and today my sister is wearing a top from anthropologie that is almost identical to the Katherine Tilton top with pointed hem. I might buy it and make her another one.

My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since.

Well maybe I am becoming more daring, but I really like many of the patterns in this group! Usually it is hum ho, but the artsy is definitely abounding this fall!!! Can't wait till they get in the store on sale!

I'm in trouble- I like a LOT of these. I'll definitely be getting most of the new designer dress patterns. I really like the Kay Unger ones- especially 1206, but I would skip the green leopard print. I also like the Cynthia Steffe one: 1207, but I'm not sure how to wear a bra with it. Any ideas?
And I would like to make the Tom and Linda Platt pattern: 1208 just as it is shown in a bright red fabric. How pretty for the holidays!

That little 1208, a rare bias cut, could be very sweet indeed if made with just the right amount of ease. It could even be an awfully nice top!

And if--if--the leggings trend has legs, so to speak, this Katherine Tilton tunic might be a way to look both decent and non-bulky.

Maybe you can redraft the back and make the "V" just a tad higher ?
