Looks like it has the centennial (1851-1951) badge. In good condition, with a so-so case; I'd say $25 is fair. Plus, you can use it for planting the fields! "Rare"? As in "undercooked"?

I'm always getting fooled by the badges. Sometimes I think the black one is blue on the photo.

I would like this machine though. I have the older ones, with all the decals and would prefer one of these plain ones.

All day this has been stuck in me wee brain...maybe coz Christmas is fast approaching?

What Singer is this?
I want to know
for clothes and quilts I want to sew.

So small, so neat tucked in its case
What is it I really must know!

This, this is a Featherweight
with glossy black coat from days of old.
With chrome so bright and stitch so straight,
with decals of beautiful gold.

And of course the Featherweight Song has nothing whatsoever to do with the SInger 99K in your link.

The thread title set me off...it's not my fault!

Is it possible to be all hopped up on Featherweights?

I love the seller's comment "I can't turn it off.....(typical male)". Too funny.
