Date: 10/2/10 4:25 AM Looks like it has the centennial (1851-1951) badge. In good condition, with a so-so case; I'd say $25 is fair. Plus, you can use it for planting the fields! "Rare"? As in "undercooked"?

Date: 10/2/10 4:38 AM I'm always getting fooled by the badges. Sometimes I think the black one is blue on the photo.
I would like this machine though. I have the older ones, with all the decals and would prefer one of these plain ones. ------ "What you WANT is irrelevant, what you've CHOSEN is at hand." --Mr. Spock |

Date: 10/2/10 8:13 PM All day this has been stuck in me wee brain...maybe coz Christmas is fast approaching?
What Singer is this?
I want to know
for clothes and quilts I want to sew.
So small, so neat tucked in its case
What is it I really must know!
This, this is a Featherweight
with glossy black coat from days of old.
With chrome so bright and stitch so straight,
with decals of beautiful gold.

Date: 10/2/10 8:21 PM And of course the Featherweight Song has nothing whatsoever to do with the SInger 99K in your link.
