Date: 10/5/10 1:26 PM Hey folks! I missed the Aug. 28 one and wondered if any more are planned for October or November? I'm just getting back into sewing now that I've had my baby (as in, I actually opened my sewing machine cabinet and turned it on and used it) and I've been going to my BurdaStyle Sewing Club in Brooklyn but would love a PR outing.
I could do Sat. Oct. 23, or Sat. Nov. 6, Sun. Nov. 7, or Mon. Nov. 8 (or later in Nov. but it might be chilly!). It's been so long that I can't remember if some of the stores are closed on Saturdays, though...
I would have baby with me in a carrier, so I'm not sure how many shops I'd go to or how much I'd actually buy, but I suppose it would depend on who was coming. I'd have to make a stop or two to feed her as well.

Date: 10/5/10 4:21 PM Coming in during the week lets you go to places like Elliot Berman, my new favorite place and all the leather stores which are not open on Saturday, so I'd be happy to come in during the week though I can make Saturday, but I'd love to meet Sarah, so is there mid week day people can make? ------

Date: 10/5/10 4:27 PM I can always do Saturdays, but I don't have anymore holiday days off work this year and I don't think I'd have time to take off a day between now and early/mid November. If you arrange a weekday I can meet for lunch and maybe one store. |

Date: 10/6/10 9:58 AM I'm glad to hear there's interest! I can't do midweek (back at work fulltime now after my maternity leave, I only get alternate Mondays off). I don't want to leave Sarah out by doing a Saturday... Would that Sunday or Monday date work for anyone? (Sunday Nov. 7 or Monday Nov. 8?)
