Saw this story and thought others might be interested:

(first two paragraphs)

ON THE SCREEN At first glance, Advanced Style looks like an ordinary street-fashion photo blog. The mostly vertical images of pedestrians in dapper suits and fanciful skirts mingle with short descriptions of the clothing and back stories about the wearers.

But the models are unlike those featured in Vogue or on Style.com. They are older. Much older. When Im walking around Manhattan, Im always scanning for gray hair, said Ari Seth Cohen, 29, whose respect and admiration for the confident fashions of those more than twice his age led him to start posting photos of stylish older people in August 2008.

I want to go out for lunch with this woman. I have this same look in a tops with plunging necklines.

What classy lady! I hope I remember where this site is in 30 years when I hit the official age.

Really, who am I kidding, all of their clothing is nicer than anything in my present day closet. I could take a lesson today!

Do you think she colors the back of her hair? That's so cool the way only the frontis white, but i don't see how it can be natural. I like it, though.

She looks like she has money for cosmetic dentistry and skin resurfacing. I would do that if I had the disposable funds. She really looks great. It's a wake up call if we let ourselves go and say it's just age.

I think it's natural. My hair went grey like that. At first it was only one side. I thought it looked interesting so I combed it to accentuate it. Now I'm grey/white on both sides but still dark in the back.

I'm in my mid-forties and my hair is greying in that fashionn with a lock at the front greying sooner and faster than the rest of it. I changed my hairstyle to accentuate the ribbon of grey.

She looks like a fun lady, and I love her outfit....but my eye immediately went to her feet. Those poor toes look like they spent a lot of years jammed into pointy-toed shoes. Big toes are supposed to point straight ahead, not towards the pinky toes. It's painful just to look at them!

That's a possibility, but that is also how your feet look when you develop bunions (which can develop spontaneously). My eight-year-old has one foot like that, and she has never been subjected to pointy shoes.
