Date: 10/12/10 7:23 AM Does anyone know of a blouse pattern for little girl's size 4 and 5 with long sleeves and collar? I can't find one in the big four patterns. Very frustrating. I wanted to make a blouse to go with jumpers with a collar and either an elastic wrist sleeve or a cuff sleeve. Maybe it is not the style now days but, I think they are so sweet. |

Date: 10/12/10 8:09 AM Hi Puddin Pop, I don't know of any current girl patterns from the big 4, hopefully someone else can help. I have many vintage patterns that have long sleeves and collars for little girls, may be you could find one of those if you are interested ?? I find they are really common |

Date: 10/12/10 10:11 AM How did you find those? I looked through my old ones that I used for my daughter but, did not find the one I used for her. I have no problem using vintage, if I can find one. Thank you. |

Date: 10/12/10 5:41 PM Jalie 2322 is a good one. It has child through adult sizes, so you could use it too.
Although, I can't seem to find it here on PR anymore. I'm wondering if it's out of print.

Date: 10/12/10 6:43 PM Lanetzliving has a large selection of vintage patterns. I've purchased from her, and the purchase experiences have been very positive.
I'm so surprised that the big 4 do not have any current little girl's blouse patterns. Who would that blouses could be out of style? They are so classic. Even if blouses are not trendy, many girls still wear blouses as part of school uniforms. I checked Kwik Sew and didn't see any there either. I may have some unused patterns in my stash. My daughter is 10 now, so I won;t need any of them I find. I'll look later after dinner and post again tonight if I find any. ------ Patty |

Date: 10/12/10 7:36 PM I found them on ebay, thrift shops, in bundles of childrens' patterns.
I found that many of the blouse patterns have multiple collars, sleeves, fronts or are in patterns with pinafores, skirts etc.
I didn't have a problem finding them but it did take me a little time to collect patterns I wanted. New look, Butterick and Simplicity seem the most common ones I come across in this style.
HTH.
Good luck |
