I change my avatar from time to time...usually because I want a visual reminder of some part of my life as I hang out here. Some people have avatars I just don't get...Bert has an avatar that looks like a human egg! Bert, tell me what it means!

My screen name is really my nickname and is pronounced Mare (as in a female horse or close to Spanish for sea) and C (as in the letter C).

What about others?

I need to change my avatar more often..... my screen name is from a song my parents sang to me when I was little. An old army song that was k-k-k-kp (as in kitchen patrol), and then became k-k-k-katy (beautiful katy, she's the only k-k-k-girl that I adore). Just a sentimental thing

Ha! I thought the exact same thing about Bert's avatar! Bert, does this mean you're ovulating?

Originally I just used my name and a couple of different pictures of myself, but I started getting nervous about it and switched. Now I use DoggyGirl 'cause I'm a complete dog freak. It's much more descriptive of my personality, and hopefully less appealing to cyberstalkers.

Arf!

Mine is a young Juliet from Romeo and Juliet. I looked like that when I was younger except for the chest, and I liked her dreaminess.
I was thinking about this just yesterday afternoon. One of my sons said Donna Reed. I'm not sure how he meant that just yet.

Sexy Sadie is a Beatles song. I came up with SexiSadi years ago when AOL first come on the scene. I was going to a Beatles chat room a lot, and needed something Beatle-like. Just about everything was taken already. LovlyRita, PennyLane, PennyLN etc... I did manage to get SexiSadi. I can't remember screen names and passwords it seems, so I only use a very small few. SexiSadi is one of them.

My avatar is of my little one playing her piano. Now that she can stand and walk, she figured out she can play that piano with her butt. It's hilarious.

Not much mystery on my screen name - first name and last initial. The avatar is a shot of my results from Simplicity 9004, a cat bed that my feral felines (ok, not so feral anymore) enjoy as the result of my return to sewing last year.

My current avatar is my high school photo because my age 7 Brownie picture was too young! My name was changed when I became a moderator. My name and birth year - no originality at all! I'll change my avatar soon for a more recent pic. Aging on line just like in real life.

Hate to tell you this shugs....but we aren't buying that high school pic either.

And GL Butterfly's newest pic of her that we know of is a headless figure in a red dress..

As far as my avatar.. well. a friend did that for me.. and I am so grateful that I am no longer a crackerjack figure. Looks just like me too don't you think.
