Date: 10/14/10 1:49 PM when I try to look at the third page of the thread on the blog by a member who uses no patterns, I'm getting a malware warning which states that PR contains elements from sachika.com which appears to host malware. Anyone else getting this, or has my computer gone bonkers? ------ so many patterns, clamouring to be sewn

Date: 10/14/10 4:46 PM I'm not getting any warnings. Things like that often indicate some malware or spyware on your computer. Maybe run some scans. If your antivirus doesn't find anything try some free malware scans too. Malwarebytes is a good on I use and it's free ------ Blessings

Date: 10/14/10 8:53 PM Well, for some reason the site loaded a trojan horse for me, but luckily my virus scanning software picked it up and quarantined it. Date: 10/15/10 12:53 PM Sounds like something is there if TWO different people found it...notify the moderator, who can pull the link off the board so no one else gets it. |

Date: 10/16/10 12:39 PM Unfortunately, that usually means your security ware didn't catch it; that has happened to me.
I learned the hard way that these warnings rarely come up as a FALSE positive. They make new malware everyday and it's hard for security software to keep up with the bad guys.
Of course, if you didn't try to access that particular page, nothing would come up. |

Date: 10/17/10 10:41 PM We recently caught some malware and had to pay $196 to get our computer reformatted... Then a week or more "fixing" it all up - installing all our software again. Major PITA.

Date: 10/18/10 10:49 AM When typing in sachika.com, Google popped up a warning. Here's an exerpt from the warning:
Quote: Of the 188 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 24 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2010-10-13, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2010-10-13.
Malicious software includes 10 scripting exploit(s). Successful infection resulted in an average of 3 new process(es) on the target machine.
In short, stay away from sachika.com. Petro, could you give me the link to the message with the sachika.com link so it can be removed? In the meantime I'll try to find it on my own.------ Jennifer
