Hi. When making my muslin for Vogue 8699, instead of adding a dart as suggested in FFRP for my slighlty round back, I adjusted the back shoulder princess seams to take in the excess fabric. Now I realize that the back seams won't match the front seams. Even if I added a real dart and left the seams alone, the front and back seams still wouldn't match would they?
How do I make a slightly round back adjustment on a shoulder princess? I also have forward shoulders as well.

Which seams are not matching? Shoulder seams?
I'm a little confused b/c I thought if you have a rounded back, you would need to have extra fabric in the round area.
Cynthia Guffey went over this at a class I attended. She said the only way to do this is to have a center back seam and to add the extra fabric you need there. You draw several lines (at least 3) and split each apart just a little. This leaves the side and shoulder seams alone.
