Date: 11/9/10 2:06 AM Tomorrow starts the 2nd season of The Fashion Show and from what I've heard they're doing it a little different than last year.
I plan to watch it and I'm curious how their changes will work out.
Here's hoping for the best. ------ Martha |

Date: 11/9/10 3:30 AM If I can find somewhere online that will show the episode in Australia (Bravo, like Lifetime, only shows within the USA) (eg on dailymotion, zshare etc), then yes, I hope to watch it. TLo have predicted it'll be great watching, so I hope to catch it, but we'll see...
I'll probably still follow the plots if I can, even if I can't watch it! ------ Imaan in Sydney, NSW.

Date: 11/9/10 12:01 PM Yup, I am DEFINITELY going to watch it!! DD and I, both!! :)
I know a LOT of Project Runway fans that'll be watching it, too.
I've never watched this show before, though. Iman kinda scares me ... she always looks so angry. But I am a big fan of Isaac Mizrahi. He's so clever and so creative!! :)
(PS ~ for those of you @ home, PR season 4 is on Bravo right now as a teaser to TFS tonight!!) ------ ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Date: 11/9/10 12:24 PM I didn't like last seasons, but the Project Runway guys thought it was pretty good so I'll at least watch the first one and see if I like it. ------ www.nancyksews.blogspot.com |

Date: 11/9/10 12:31 PM No, I saw last season and it wasn't very good. Personally, I feel the caliber of designer that is attracted to these kinds of shows has diminished over time or should I say, the type of artist that seems to thrive on these kinds of shows leaves much to be desired. I will check in now and then on TLo to see what they have to say about it. PRS7 burnt me out. I am really tired of fashion/sewing related reality show contests, and reality show contests in general. Plus I turned off the cable beginning October and it would have to be really good for me to stream it on line. I'd just as soon wait for the season's DVD to come out and watch on Netflix -- if I care enough and have absolutely nothing better to do.
Sorry, but you asked. |

Date: 11/9/10 12:36 PM Last season was so unwatchable that I had consciously chosen to pass on this season. But based on them making changes from last season (namely getting rid of Kelly Rowland--she's gorgeous, but I found her unbearable as a host) I'm going to give it a chance.
Fingers crossed....
(ETA: my husband just reminded me of their catch phrase. Ugh. If they say "hanging by a thread" in the eliminations, the TV goes OFF) -- Edited on 11/9/10 12:40 PM -- ------ Leslie |

Date: 11/9/10 1:28 PM Ugh. I was scratching my head, trying to remember if I'd watched this show, & that catch phrase "hanging by a thread" jogged my memory.
Yes, I saw some of it last season.
No, I won't be watching again.

Date: 11/9/10 1:35 PM The first season of TFS wasn't that great, but I'm hopeful given that this season has Iman and that Tom & Lorenzo liked it.
The season finale of Project Runway left a bad taste in my mouth, and I hadn't planned on watching TFS until I read T & Lo's blog post about it, but I've got the DVR set now and plan to give it a chance. ------ --Michelle

Date: 11/9/10 3:21 PM I hope Iman brings some of her fierceness to the judging. I loved her defense of goth on PR Canada.
