"A Stitch in Time" - a 55 minute podcast about the dressmaking as a necessity, a career option, and a creative outlet can be found here.

On the same page is a link to a radio show from 1993 called "Running up a frock", and a brief newsreel of fashion students parading their garments from 1957. Fantastic!
