Know any blogs where the sewer uses patterns from La Mia Boutique?

I've just got a subscription to the Sewing Magazine La Mia Boutique - but can't find anyone else (in any language!) who sews from it and blogs about it. Perhaps someone reading this has seen one? I did find one, only to find she had let her subscription lapse, and I'm really looking for people sewing from current issues.

I've sewn a few things from La Mia Boutique over the years - all my LMB-tagged posts are here.

Littlejazzbird has also sewn quite a bit, her site is here.

You could also look through all the LMB reviews here on PR, as lots of people link to their blogs within their reviews.

I've had a LMB subscription for a few months and have sewn a few things from issues over the past year. I'm really enjoying it so far--I'm a big knit person, and they seem to consistently have several great knit patterns to choose from each issue. LMB patterns are so much easier to trace than the current BurdaStyle roadmap patterns, too.

I have a blog that I haven't updated in 2 years, but I'm usually pretty good about posting reviews with photos within a few days of completing a garment.

I'm a couple of reviews behind right now (including a knit LMB top), but that's mainly because of a combination of me being really sick for a few weeks and being completely swamped with year-end things at work. I plan to get caught up on my reviews over the holidays.

I subscribe to LMB. I just traced a jacket, which I will be fitting to younger daughter who is 4'10". My blog will definitely be following that process! I want to make some things for myself, too, from the magazine.

Pa ha ha - it was you I was talking about ! Disappointed that you decided to end your affair with the magazine just as I was starting it!

Thanks to the others for your suggestions - if I was a PR member I'd favour you all! Unfortunately I am not, so I'll just try to follow what you are up to from time to time. (that's why I was looking for blogs, so I could keep an easy eye on what people were sewing).

SP, where did you get LMB from? Do you have a site you order from? Or is it e-bay?

I am also interested in La Mia Boutique, have not purchased any issues yet, but have been looking on Ebay or waiting for one of my friends to make a trip to Europe so I can put in a request. Also - I have been looking for sewing blogs written in Italian - there seem to be none. As I thought it would be fun to flex my language skills. So still searching :)

You can buy it from Around the World Fashion magazines here
They are in NYC and it gets Fed exed and here on LI I get it the next day. A little longer to the west coast I'd guess.

Nancy K, did they ever get the Dec issue? I posted elsewhere their positive reply to my email enquiry but haven't check to see if anyone actually bought the magazine from them.
