I'm looking for a pattern that looks like this dress:

http://www.modcloth.com/store/ModCloth/Blog/Fall+Flavors/Squash/Soda+Fountain+Dress+in+Ginger

I love that style, but I can't justify paying $45 that has such bad reviews, and it is out of stock in my size anyway...help! :)

I have found these two:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/47959770/70s-flared-dress-vintage-simplicity-6201?ref=sr_gallery_37&ga_search_query=shirtdress+pattern&ga_search_type=vintage&ga_page=3&order=&includes[0]=tags&includes[1]=title&filter[0]=vintage

http://www.etsy.com/listing/54299295/vintage-60s-shirtwaist-dress-slim-or

But they aren't as cute as the yellow one...and no cap sleeves!

How about Ceylon from Collette Patterns? (You'll need to scroll down to find the gallery pictures of that one.) I didn't direct you to Collette's picture because I really think their picture does the dress a disservice. I think it needed to be ironed. But the gallery pics of the dresses that are made by their customers make it look really cute.

ETC typo!

I'm not sure what your skill level is, but there are three Simplicity patterns that are Project Runway inspired, that might be what you're looking for; perhaps between the three you can get the look you want.

Simplicity2403
Simplicity 2724
Simplicity 2694
These are all very similar to the look of the Mod CLoth dress.
I hope this helps.
