Has anyone worked with the gorgeous metallic jersey EOS is selling? I love the colors but I am worried that it might be scratchy.

I have a piece of it that I have not yet sewn up. It is surprisingly NOT scratchy but not the absolute coziest fabric either. It is very wearable and this is coming from a natural fibre snob. Before I bought it, I asked for info - or - I had read someone (or more) people on the boards comment about how it was lovely and not scratchy so I purchased based on that info. I was not unpleasantly surprised.

The only reason I have not sewn it is I mistakenly ordered white with silver flecks and I meant to order cream, so it did not go with the outfit I had planned. I meant to make the shorter version of the infamous Simplicity 2603 cardi wrap!

Yep! It's fabulous, and VERY soft! Not scratchy at all.

Oooh...I have the cream with gold flecks, which I've not sewn up, as I'd wanted the white with silver!

Sounds like a "get your peanut butter out of my chocolate...get your chocolate out of my peanut butter" situation!

Wanna trade?

It's yummy! I made this.

I lined it only to give it a bit more body. It's very soft. I was a click away from buying more when I saw she had it. But, alas, I am on a fabric diet at the moment.

I got some of the taupe/metallic rayon jersey last fall. It is really beautiful fabric, and I love the cowl neck top I made out of it. Except......it is starting to pill, and I'm not sure why. I've washed it as carefully as I could (gentle cycle, inside out, woolite). Most of the pilling is near the underarm area. It makes me so sad because I really do like this fabric...it is sophisticated and beautiful.

Not at all. I have a couple of tops that I've made from it and the back side is smooth and not as metallic. It wears well too.

Absolutely, a trade sounds perfect! Once the kidlets are in bed I'll check and see how much of it I have and I'll PM you.

I haven't used that fabric in particular but have made this top in a gold flecked fabric. It is super comfy to wear and a fabulous addition to my wardrobe. I have worn it heaps, mainly with black pants when I am going out to a nice restaurant. Maybe I should look at buying another piece...
