"Tack It" pattern marker question about a vintage sewing tool

Its shape resembles a stapler, and you use it with dressmaker's carbon to put marks on your pattern pieces. Anyone else have one of these dandies? ------ Roseana, Austin, TX

I am not ready to have something in my possession that I bought brand new called an antique. For 99 cents, it was a steal! I haven't been sewing since I'm back from vacation, but I really cannot wait to use it. I found it at a Thrift Shop that tends to have lots of great sewing things. I don't do a lot of that kind of marking, but it has occurred to me that, as Michelle says, one with chalk on the ends would be infinitely easier to use.
