It's up now on the French site.

Here ya go!

I know it may be because I haven't been buying the regular Burda magazine for a while, but I really like this issue -- lots of nice stuff in here! OK, including lots and LOTS of décolletage, but oh well.

They all look like repeats to me. Are there any that are new?

Yep, from the blurb it sounds like they're all repeats (although they worded it the same way last time and some were not in fact repeats). Someone who has the issues from the last few months can feel free to jump in and confirm whether these are all re-runs.

For once I'm at an advantage this way, since I missed out on all but a few regular 2010 BurdaStyle issues.

It seems to me that the first two stories are new.

And Joan, let me tell you that I love your quote.

Four out of the five sections are repeats; only the 'Garden Party' section is new. I've already made one of the dresses from the 'Dolce Vita' section (although here they list it as a petite plus, in the BurdaStyle issue it was a regular plus). Nothing in the new section appeals to me enough to make it worth buying this issue. I like the ruched center seam tank top, but it's the same as the t-shirt version minus the sleeves, and I could make that change myself. I also like the balloon hem skirt but I don't need a pattern for it.

I really liked the first two issues of the plus magazine that I got before they changed to making them just repeats of the plus patterns from the regular BurdaStyle, and I made several things from one of them. I'm disappointed by the change. At least the last issue had 2 new sections. Oh well, I just won't resubscribe. I subscribe to LMB Plus and it has been pretty awesome. I can also grade up from regular Burda pretty easily.

I wonder if perhaps they're assuming (falsely) that most people don't buy both magazines? I'm in a borderline size range, too. If I had been able to get regular Burda magazines all year, I would be disappointed with this issue, too. Since I missed all but the first three or four issues of 2010, I'm quite pleased to be getting some of what I missed. If they want to put out a separate plus magazine, maybe they should put all the plus items there instead of in the regular magazine -- i.e. make two to four plus issues per year and fill them with all new designs. They're spending the money to put out a separate issue anyway, and most people will stop buying it if they keep making it mostly repeats. Just a thought... but of course they do whatever they please...

Thanks! I love it too! I'm very grateful to the person who PM'd to let me know the correct source of the quote, because the website I found it on originally said "author unknown."

Actually, I think the garden party section is also only slight reworkings of previous designs. The printed skirt with elastic at the hem is from the section with the "sahara" theme, as is I think the "safari" jacket. The gathered front tank is from the "ethnic" section (just done sleeveless) and the skirt looks like a slight reimaging of the wrap skirt in that section as well. And the long jacket looks like a longer version of the Chanel-type jacket in the "style by the sea" section.

You mention you subscribe to LMB +. I tried one from an ebay seller, and I really like it and would like to subscribe too. Who do you sub thru, and how much does it cost? Thanks!

Could you PM me the info as well? I dropped my Burda Plus subscription after the last issue, and after seeing this one, I'm so glad I did! I'd love to get my hands on LMB Plus!
