Date: 2/5/11 9:50 PM Hi everyone... I have been working on figuring out fitting. I have several books on the subject, including FFRP, but I really like Nancy Zieman's method in Pattern Fitting with Confidence. It feels more approachable to me. I have quite a few increases to make, being plus-size in all the below-the-shoulders areas but with a "right size measurement" of size 14. Anyway, I've been able to use this method successfully on several projects now, but now I want to make a shirt with a yoke (New Look 6941) and I am struggling to get my mind around how I would do this. I would love some input!
My apologies if this has already been covered on the boards... I wasn't able to find it in my searching, but would be happy to refer to another post if given a link! :)
Thanks in advance,

Date: 2/5/11 10:00 PM Pin or tape your pattern pieces together matching the stitching lines. The stitching lines aren't marked on the pattern so just draw them in. Do the alterations then unpin or untape the pattern pieces. All done! :) ------ "framed" was taken |
