Date: 2/21/11 11:02 PM Next week we are going on an extended vacation and I just realized I really need another travel skirt. I even have some dark grey fabric that would work for this adorable skirt but I'm not sure of how to do the double shirring.

I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Date: 2/22/11 7:06 AM ha! It's your lucky day - Christine Jonson has a tutorial on her site to make a skirt very similar to this! No pattern needed! ------ www.fehrtrade.com |

Date: 2/22/11 8:38 AM I tried on a version of CJ's shirred skirt at her open house and found it very comfortable and flattering. She uses two layers of the same knit fabric for the body and the waistband. At the time, she and her sample maker Auria were working on a video of how to construct the skirt; I don't know if it's available yet. |

Date: 2/22/11 10:58 PM CJ's skirt is a little different than the one I posted originally but it is adorable - now I need to see if I can find some 4-way stretch fabric.
Regarding the original post, I'm still intrigued about how to make the double-stitched design feature in the seams.
